Get rewarded with fabulous offers for using your Safaricom line.

Bonga Points is a loyalty scheme for all Safaricom PrePay and PostPay subscribers. Once registered to the Programme, you start earning points immediately. The more you use your line, the more points you earn. Earning of Bonga Points starts as soon as you register for the scheme.

You earn One Bonga Point for every KSHs.10 spent on voice calls, SMS or data. The more you use your Safaricom line, the more points you get and the BIGGER the rewards!

Bonga Points can be redeemed for rewards ranging from Talk-time (Minutes), Data, SMS and MMS bundles to Merchandise redeemable at any Safaricom Retail Centre countrywide.

How to activate Bonga Points

To enrol, check or to redeem your Bonga Points, simply dial *126# and follow the prompts.

You will receive a confirmation SMS once enrolled and you automatically get 10 FREE POINTS.

If you register your personal information when enrolling to Bonga, we will automatically reward you with 30 FREE POINTS. You can register your personal information at any Safaricom Retail Centre or through Safaricom’s Customer Care service.

How to check for Bonga Points

Check the total number of points you have accumulated at any time by simply texting the word POINTS to 124 or dialling *124#.

As a PrePay subscriber, you can accurately check your total points one hour after the last airtime usage. If you are a PostPay subscriber, points are credited to your account as soon as the call records are updated on our system.
