FSK, Kamu or Frischka, as it is commonly known is a boys only national boarding secondary school located in Kimilili, Bungoma county approximately 400 km from Nairobi city. The school is widely known as a national academic and extra- curricular activities giant. The school came into existence in 1956 by Allan Bradley who was a British Native. The school’s main purpose at that time was to be a transfer unit for Friends School Kaimosi. It has since grown to be not only an academic giant but an extra- curricular one as well. The current principal of the school is Mr. Alex Maina.
Notable alumni from the school include Chris Kirubi who is a celebrated businessman and philanthropist and who is one of the greatest shareholders of Two Rivers Mall. He also serves as a director of Centum; Moses Wetangula who is the former Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Trade; Kenneth Lusaka, who was the first governor of Bungoma county and Speaker of the Senate of Kenya and Benjamin Cheboi who was the first governor of Baringo county.

The school has had a history of topping in exams, sending close to 98 percent of the student to the top universities in Kenya. For instance, the school produced the best Student in 2006’s KCSE. It ranked 12th,4th, 15th nationally in 2011, 2016 and 2017 respectively.It had a mean score of 8.33 in 2018’s KCSE. The school currently has a total staff of 80. Apart from academics, the school also does well in extra curricular activities. For instance, the school is the 2019 Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Association boys hockey champions.
