This is the fees structure of Banda School as of 2019. It’s located along Magadi Road opposite the Nairobi National Park, in the leafy suburb of Karen. Banda is one of the best international school in Kenya and one of the largest IAPS schools in the world outside the United Kingdom. The institution which was established in 1966 teaches using the British National Curriculum.
Banda boasts of modern learning facilities which enable it to provide world-class education. This includes three fully equipped libraries for early years, lower school and upper school. It’s also one of the few schools in the country that support e-learning. For instance, all pupils in years 6, 7 and 8 have iPads, which enhances the use of technology in the classroom. The classrooms are also equipped with multi-media screens, Apple TV, smart boards and data projectors. There are also two modern ICT Suites at Banda School.
In their vast network of facilities, Banda School has a fully equipped Arts Centre, two Music rooms, a Recording Studio as well as the Instrument Practice rooms. In addition, they have a Food Technology room and two Science Laboratories. An ultra-modern boarding house is also available to pupils from year 1 to year 8.
The academic year of Banda School starts on 3rd September 2019. Term 1 ends on 6th December, Term 2 opens on 7th January 2019 and closes on 27th March 2020.
